What is work4significance Day?

work4significance® Day is the SOS Health Foundation’s premier annual fundraising event hosted by participating physiotherapy practices nationally. Since the first work4significance® Day in 2009, funds raised have supported the provision of physiotherapy and related health services for homeless and disadvantaged Australians in urban and remote areas.

Where will the money go?

SOS Health Foundation will use the money raised to fund two probono physiotherapy services to support the homeless, those at risk of homelessness, and individuals and communities disadvantaged by poverty or remoteness:
  • Probono Physiotherapy Clinics in Melbourne and Brisbane – Urban Program
  • Physiotherapy services in remote communities in NE Arnhem Land and Palm Island, Nth Qld – Remote Indigenous Programs
Physios will provide hands-on treatments and services to improve the health of Australians who don’t have access to the same health services and resources that most of us take for granted.

How can I be Significant?

On the first Tuesday of September each year, participating physiotherapy practices across Australia will pursue their vision to be significant by donating on the day for this truly significant cause. You too can ‘be significant’. Book a physio treatment, massage, pilates session or any other of the many services offered and help raise funds for the work of the SOS Health Foundation.
